So I finally finished my 2nd year film
and now I feel like:

So I was sitting work minding my own business, the a wild Mel Flynn and Lidy Lu appear, proceed to make me the safety pillow, take my heat and comment on my tv shows before going off to work again. Bloody women!
Just got this email from my tutor about a cancelled guest lecture from Joanna Quinn
Joanna’s sad face at Farnham being shut! -
and happy face at the thought of rearranging her visit before the end of the year!
Oh yeah, I finished my essay
First draft? More like final draft
Things I need to do for my project (Thursday)
- edit sound for film DONE
- finish editing film DONE
- get tutors to confirm film DONE
- burn film onto a dvd
- make my festival pack Dosn’t need to be done anymore
- make rough storyboards Don’t really need them
- make presentational storyboards DONE
- make dvd cover and label DONE
- fill out other festival forms
- scan in art work and reprint it HALF DONE
- but together portfolio IN PROGRESS
IT CAN BE DONE!

- get tutors to confirm film
- burn film onto a dvd
- make my festival pack (Half done)
- make rough storyboards
- make presentational storyboards

- but together portfolio

I have to choose a director photo to go in my festival pack, but which one?
Been up since 5am waiting on my other house mates to wake up
and I think I got some work done
Me: Mel, I didn’t go insane last year, did I?
Mel:
Ok, so we had a crit last week where we had to present our ideas to our tutors to see if we were allowed to make out short film
and I was quite nervous about mine:
then when my tutor called me up she asked if I wanted to go for a break before I pitched, and I responded “I just wanna get it out of the way” and she was like”well, if that’s you attitude”.
So I started screaming at my head tutor “LETS DO THIS!!!!”, she screamed it back at me:
Then I started my pitch and was pointing at my storyboards, only to notice that everyone could see the notes I made on my hand, and I was like:
And I don’t know how it happened but I ended up yelling at my tutor again saying “I’M NOT GONNA LIE TO YOU LESLEY, I DID CHEAT, I WON’T LIE, I RESPECT YOU TOO MUCH!!!”
she loved that
So over all my crit went really well
